When I was ten, I wanted one of those mini chemistry labs, my parents on the other hand wanted their house kept in one piece, so the chemistry experiments had to stay at school. However conducting crackpot experiments with everyday items is every child’s right, and when those experiments involve 30ft soda volcaonoes, its like all your birthdays and christmas’s all coming at once!

As it happens thrill seeking idiocy has no age limit, and even the big kids will enjoy this explosive and messy experiment! The mints in fizzy drink stunt is as old as the hills, but the geyser tube takes it to a whole new level, chanelling the force of the reaction and maximising the mayhem!

You may be thinking why and wondering what all the fuss is about? But we really can’t stress how entertaining watching a 30ft fountain of coca cola surging into the air and soaking your unsuspecting mates is! And with the help of the Geyser Tube you’ll get a perfect reaction everytime!

To set the reaction in motion simply place the Geyser Tube on top of your bottle of fizzy pop (diet drinks, especially diet coke work best) place as many mentos as you feel safe to into the tube, pull the pin and then run like the wind to a safe distance while someone catches the whole event on video to upload to facebook!

Ground control to Major Tom, three, two, one, we have lift off! This fantastic product from the Science Museum can’t help but excite both children and adults alike. Experience the thrill as your cosmic rocket counts down to launch, then witness the spectical as your rocket launches into the cosmos. This great and educational gift idea contains everything you need to construct your own incredible bottle rocket.

This Cosmic Rocket is reminiscent of times gone by when instead of sitting indoors and playing on overpriced video games they got outside and had fun. A great gift that will not only give hours of fun for all the family but also stimulate children’s brains too, what could be better? Educational and Fun!

This spectacular kit contains everything you need to construct your own incredible bottle rocket! Your rocket fuel (baking soda and vinegar) produces a powerful reaction in the rocket module, which launches the bottle rocket and sends it shooting up into the air!

The Science Museum Cosmic Rocket is easy to construct with clear, easy to follow instructions, that even a four year old could follow (with proper adult supervision of course!). The reusable contents mean that you can launch your rocket over and over again.

Each kit contains a super lightweight rocket, launching pad, decorative sticker and full instructions along with fun facts.

Inspired by NASA, but not requiring zero gravity to enjoy, the Antworks Space Ants supports a fascinating colony of ants that will build an intricate tunnel network. The ants are easy to look after as they require no food or water because everything is provided for in the nutritious and delicious gel.

Ants are amazing and extremely strong, they can lift up to 20x their body weight! They have two stomachs and three eyes! They also have uncanny communication skills and amazing abilities to work together to achieve a common goal.

Ants are perhaps the most populous creatures on the face of planet earth, with at least ten thousand species and countless trillions of individual ants. Watch the ants live, work, and tunnel in the non-toxic gel as they create series upon series of intricate tunnels.

The Antworks Space Ants is an ideal gift for inquisitive children and makes a fascinating display for a table or desk. Not included are the ants which you will have to either collect yourself or send off for the mail order ants (who knew such a thing existed) that comes with the Antworks from the Science Musuem.
