Well we might not be able to solve all marriages but we can solve the age old problem of what to do with your dunking biscuits. Balancing them on the edge of your mug just results in disaster and adding a plate into the equation just adds to the washing up.

But never fear, we have found the solution, the Dunk Mug. Simply pop your biscuits in the handy compartment under the bug, and problems solved. Jobs a goodun!

We’ve all got a favourite mug, and some of us have even, shock horror, been the victim of malicious mug theft.

It’s bad enough that when you go to make that much needed cup of brown stuff, asking out of politeness would anyone else like one, that every Tom, Dick and Harry in the office suddenly decide at that exact moment that well actually now you’ve mentioned it they wouldn’t mind a a cup too.

But to get to the cupboard only to find your mug either missing, or dirty, used my some other unscrupulous individual whose mother obviously didn’t teach them right from wrong, well that’s just the last straw. No one should have to make the tea and wash up the mugs as well!

To make matters worse, if your awol mug does ever find it’s way home again, you can be sure that it’ll resemble a biohazard zone and you’ll need a hazmat suit to even get anywhere near it.

Well a solution is at hand, never again need you play the role of aggrieved victim. It’s time to fight back with the Plug Mug. What is the Plug Mug? Well without wanting to state the obvious the Plug Mug is quite simply a mug with a plug (well you asked!).

But here in lies its genius, simply remove the plug when it is out of your eye shot, and then just plug it back in when you want to make a nice hot steaming cup of cha.

We think this would make a brilliant office secret santa gift, or a fun gift for your better half just to show them that you do care about the plight that they face every single day with the lone muger (see what we did there) preventing them from getting their much needed caffine fix throughout the day.

Just one word of warning don’t forget to put in the water tight bung before you make that cup of tea, otherwise you might end up looking a bit silly!

Cinderella may have got to go to the ball and ended up with Prince Charming but it turns out that she didn’t get the most perfect slipper in all the land after all. That prize goes to this cute little offering from Whitestuff.

The Cinderella slipper is hand knitted and the upper is made from textile wool and a textile lining while the sole is leather (so it’s comfortable and wears well), all that prettiness and hand made quality at under £10, unbelievable.

The perfect addition to any girls stocking this Christmas, however young or old, i mean who doesn’t like a fairytale, and with this in their stocking there certainly will be a happy ever after.

*** Latest update – These slippers have proved really popular and so are sold out in all sizes except for large, which at Whitestuff equates to a size 7/8 ***

“Energy Efficiency”, “Carbon Footprint”, “Green”, “Eco Friendly”. Just a few of the eco buzz words being thrown around by people like Al gore.

But while the Inconvenient truth maybe that the earth is cooking itself while world leaders have meetings to discuss the meetings to talk about the committees designed to reduce our impact on the world, the convenient truth is that there is something simple you can do while Politician’s procrastinate us into the next ice age.

No, this does not involve separating your household waste into seventeen different dustbins, or turning all the heating off and living by candle light to save on heating and energy bills. What it does involve is potentially <span="green_light">saving £50 a year for the simple click of the button.

This button is not just any button, no, it’s the Eco Button, and one small click can make one BIG difference. The eco button sits on your desk and plugs into your usb port, and when pressed puts your computer into a special ‘ecomode’.

The ecomode is the most efficient, lowest power mode available, which actually draws only the same amount of power as when the computer and monitor are turned off! When you need to use the computer again, simply press any key to instantly return to where you left off. Easy!

One third or more of the energy used on a PC and monitor is wasted, so next time you need to go pee, make a cup of tea, or an take an important phone call from Al Gore about how your saving the planet one click at a time then just hit the eco button.

When you wake your computer back up with the touch of any button, everything will be just as you left it, the eco button will tell you how much CO2 you’ve saved, and even how much money you’ve saved while you’ve had it in eco standby. It keeps a running tally too, so that you can monitor the total amount of money saved and C02 offset, so you know when you can fly off on holiday, guilt free without having to buy a Scandinavian forest.

So only one question remains, <span="green_light">why wouldn’t you buy this eco button? It’s eco friendly, it saves you money, and it saves you the inconvenience of ever having to shut down and boot up your computer (which actually takes more energy than leaving it in ecomode). Plus you get to be a eco super hero, saving the world one click at a time!

In fact the only good reason for not ordering one today is if you own a Mac, as unfortunately this wonderful money saving device is only compatible with Windows computers.

Warning: When playng this game you can become extremely competitive, so don’t make any bets you can’t afford to pay. We learnt the hard way that getting the ball in the cup in one go is not that easy!

Gory and gruesome, this is not for the squeamish! But you can guarantee that kids will delight in coming up to you and squeezing it to try and get a reaction.

The tactile, transparent rubbery ball is filled with a hideous collection of disembodied eyeballs, tongues, ears and noses, all mixed in a small amount of suspicious-looking red liquid.

Truly gruesome effects can be achieved with the right manipulation which will amuse children going through the stage of finding unsavoury things fascinating. Although interestingly everyone seems to find it curiously difficult to leave alone.

Possibly the most disgusting yet delightlyfully different stress reliever we can think of.

Now I freely admit, I’m useless with directions, and could probably get lost walking in a straight line, so for me travelling on the tube is just a recipe for disaster. I’d probably end up at Wembley when I really wanted London Bridge, that is until I got bought one of these fantastic things.

So brilliant they should come as standard, surely it is not just me that needs a quick check of the tube map without having to get out a complete A-Z of London or find a wall map and risk looking like a complete tourist?

Well no longer, this rather slick oyster card wallet comes with the entire tube map printed on it, yes, every single station. So when the Bakerloo line goes down just as you need to get home this trusty little map will have you a new route without you having to stop and ask for directions, what more could you want?
