Other key new additions that make this football management game stand out head and shoulders above all others include an assistant manager to give you pointers on where you are going wrong and offer feedback on player performance and tactics, which for newcomers to the game, entrenched in a relegation dog fight, could make the difference between survival and the conference!
For more seasoned players there are the press conferences another new addition this year, with media sessions before and after games, as well as at key stages of the season, adding an extra layer of realism to the game, best of all you can even storm out of a session, or decide like Alex Ferguson that you are too good to talk the media and send out your assistant manager instead!
The long awaited ability to teach your players new special skills is another welcome addition. Just don’t expect that up and coming striker to turn into the new Pele overnight.
